Metal is and will always be one of our most popular materials for buttons and fasteners.

We use metal not only for classical blazer buttons and decorative shank buttons but also and mainly for sportive fasteners – especially for snap buttons, tack buttons, rivets and zipper-pullers.

We distinguish between brass plates (the shapes are pressed out of a brass sheet) and zinc alloy which is also called zamac (the shapes are casted). After having produced the shape the surface of the button is electroplated depending on the current requirements of fashion. The alloy of our gold for example contains certain amounts of real gold, indeed.

Enameling is also a typical way to give metal buttons colored effects. We only offer nickel-free items.
